You have to find what works for you, but I will tell you that the keto diet plan (see keto diet blog or Dr. Mercola) is by far, Scientifically, the most superior diet. Not only does it help you to use your own fat for fuel but it has been scientifically proven to shrink tumors, fight cancer and improve mitochondrial health. It simply means that 70-80% of your food sources come from healthy fats like MCT oil, avocado, fatty fish like sardines and wild caught alaskan salmon, butter, ghee, heavy cream, whole milk cheese, mayo, eggs, etc... Then about 20% of your nutrition comes from proteins, like chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, nuts, etc... 10% or less comes from carbs but only veggie and fruit carbs; not bread or pasta. I started it, shredded body fat that I struggled with for years, started these workouts with Lisa Marie and at 50 I am in the best health ever with defined muscles, lean and tons of energy.
