I have been so blessed to have BodyRock in my life for the last 9 years. This season I have not been consistent with daily workout but more a couple per week or less. I have no energy and feel weak, I can get through 30 min workout and too tired for more when I used to do full hour daily workouts with Lisa and Sean, I little body fat and very energetic. I do not take vitamins, have not had protein shake in some time nor have I incorporated MCT oil like I used for no reason but stress and work life. Please share suggestions on building me back to where I was and what my body needs... (44yr old, female)
Are you part of our Facebook group? That is s hugs help! I would say start back with a beginner level and work your way back up. But I’m pretty new myself. I started with Beginner Boot Camp and have been moving into different options as I am able to. But the beginner boot camp was great for me personally:)
are you eating enough nutrients? especially before your workouts, you need energy. "Little body fat" tells us you are pretty good at burning calories!
Have you seen a doctor? If you've been doing HIIT for years, your body could be simply exhausted and trying to tell you something. Maybe take a break and focus on low intensity for a while, i.e, walking outside, yoga, swimming?? When we get older especially I don't think we bounce back as well (just my opinion). I'm in my 40's as well and I have to be careful with doing too much HIIT every single day. I try to break it up with "active rest days" as Lisa calls them. Hope you feel better :)
Do get your thyroid checked. Hypo thyroid can cause a lot of fatigue and loss of energy which has been my case
